It is, however, not a matter of public outcry alone. ninety four percent of fortune 1000 companies have experienced supply chain disruptions from the pandemic, with three fourth of them reporting negative or strongly negative impacts on their businesses. 3 in fact, large scale supply chain disruptions were a cause of concern even before the pandemic because of the looming environmental threats.
